You will be picked up at your hotel and then transferred to Amador Causeway. The partial transit can be “Southbound” or “Northbound”: you will pass the two locks systems at the Pacific side of the Canal “Miraflores Locks” and “Pedro Miguel Locks”, the Gaillard Cut (Culebra Cut) and Gatun Lake.
Sailing through the Gaillard Cut (Culebra Cut), you will see one of the main points of interest, because it was carved through the “Continental Divide”; you will be able to see the new Centennial Bridge and the old Bridge of America and also the historical town of Gamboa, home of the Dredging Division of the Canal.
