Day 1: Arrival in Panama
Our driver will take you from Tocumen International Airport to the Best Western Plus Panamá Zen Hotel. Night in a standard room.
Day 2: Partial Transit of the Panama Canal
You will be picked up from your hotel to reach the ¨Calzada de Amador ¨. The partial transit can be done in “south direction” or “north direction”, you will pass through the two sets of locks on the Pacific side of the Panama Canal, the “Miraflores” locks and the “Pedro Miguel” locks, the ¨Corte Gaillard ¨ (Corte Culebra) and Gatun Lake. You will navigate by the ¨Corte Gaillard¨ (Corte Culebra), one of the main points of interest, as it was built crossing the ¨Continental Division¨, you will see the new Centennial Bridge and the old Bridge of the Americas, as well as the historic village of Gamboa, seat of the dredging division of the Canal. Sometimes the trip can be done in reverse.
You will spend another night at the Best Western Plus Panamá Zen Hotel in a standard room.
Day 3: Departure to the San Blas
Our driver will pick you up around 05:15 a.m. at your hotel. After a 1 1/2 hours drive, you will enter the Guna region (Guna Yala). Then the road goes up and down for another hour to the Caribbean border: on the way a nice spot with a gorgeous view of the archipelago. At your arrival in Carti, you will get on board a Guna canoe, and ride to the sailboat. Welcome from your captain and aboard one of the sailboats of the San Blas Sailing fleet. You will sail on a sailboat on the San Blas archipelago and know the beauty of the 365 islands, of which only 10% are inhabited!

Days 4 and 5: San Blas by sailboat
A unique experience: two days of sailing on the San Blas archipelago, which is located on the Caribbean Sea a few miles from the north coast of Panama, selected as the third most beautiful destination in the world! Visit the traditional indigenous Guna villages and learn more about the famous ¨Molas¨. Explore the deserted islands, go snorkeling, fishing and kayaking… and take advantage of moments to read and rest, far from mass tourism!

Day 6: Departure to the Darién
After breakfast, our captain will take you to Carti, where you will take a Guna motorboat to reach the pier Tupile, where our driver will be waiting to take you to the intersection between Llanos de Carti and the Pan-American Highway. From there, another driver will be waiting for your transfer to Metetí, province of Darien. Our guide will give you the instructions for your stay in the Community of Playa Muerto. You will spend the night in Metetí.
Day 7: Departure to the community of Playa Muerto
After breakfast you will have a water transfer of approximately 3 hours from the community through the Golf of San Miguel to the Community Embera-Wounaan of Playa Muerto. With a little luck, this crossing will allow us to see dolphins which are normally found outside the golf. When you arrive at Playa Muerto, the locals will cook lunch for you. Before sunset, an excursion to a waterfall, a beach and a watchtower will give you the opportunity to see birds and take some photos. At the end of the beach, there is a river where you can navigate on small canoes that the local young people use for surfing and fishing. Night in the community.
Day 8: Hike to ¨Casa de la Bruja¨
After a delicious breakfast, we will start the hike towards the ¨Casa de la Bruja¨, a natural viewpoint on a rock on the edge of the imposing South Sea, where only we can feel the beating of a full heart, fresh air. Once at the Mirador and without clouds, you will appreciate the natural beauty of the Lung of the Americas, the Darien National Park, which strives for its preservation.
Day 9: Visit of the Waterfall
You will enjoy the sunrise and sunset in one of the most privileged places in the world. You will walk towards a viewpoint and a waterfall, at a speed suitable for all ages.

Day 10: Return to Panama City
After breakfast, you will prepare for your return trip to Panama City: you will take a boat from the community of Playa Muerto to Metetí, or the driver will meet you for your ground transfer to your hotel. Accommodation at the Best Western Plus Panamá Zen Hotel.
Day 11: Visit of the city and the Canal (Full day) and Departure from Panama
Departure from your hotel to visit the most important sites of the capital such as the ruins of the Old City of Panama (Panama la Vieja), a city destroyed by the pirate Henry Morgan in 1671. Continue towards the Colonial City of architecture Spain (Casco Viejo) built in 1673. It was the district where French workers lived that Ferdinand de Lesseps directed to build, at the time, the Panama Canal. Let yourself be driven through the narrow streets to discover Panama’s historical heritage.Visit the squares, the public parks, the plaza de Francia, Las Bovedas, the Church of San José with its wonderful golden altar, the cathedral. At lunchtime, we’ll take you to a prestigious restaurant. After lunch, head to the Miraflores locks to discover the passage of ships through the locks. Watch the Panama Canal Commission video showing how this important inter-oceanic waterway works.
A visit to the museum is also included: a mine of interest. You will then be driven to Amador Causeway, a man-made construction that connects three islands. Amador Causeway offers a breathtaking view of the city.
At the end of the excursion, drive to Tocumen International Airport for your international flight.
