Discovering the Las Perlas Archipelago, also known as Pearl Islands. They are a group of about 39 islands and 100 islets (many of them are small and uninhabited) located in the heart of the Gulf of Panama, about 48 km from the coasts of the Panama Isthmus. The name comes from the abundance of pearls that existedin the area during the period of Spanish domination. In this area was found the famous “Peregrina” Pearl who owned Felipe II and also the actress Elizabeth Taylor, until her death in 2011.

For its incredible number and diversity of fish and marine species, this archipelago is considered one of the best sports fishing places in the world.

Day 1

You will be picked up at your hotel in Panama City and transferred to Flamenco Island in the Amador Causeway to board the ferry to Contadora – Pearl Island – at 07h30. During the journey, you will have the opportunity to see dolphins, turtles and even whale watching during the season. Arrival at approximately 9h40. Transfer to the charming Hotel Mar y Oro with hotel transport.

Day 2

Free morning to enjoy the island and get to know the surroundings. Or take a tour offered by the hotel.

The return to Panama City will be at 15h30, so you should be at the boarding point around 15h00. The arrival of the ferry to the city is estimated at 17h40. Transfer to your hotel in the city.
